Weather Service for (glider) pilots

Here you can read about my weather service for (glider) pilots. I have developed a service that provides an interface to access METAR/TAF/Soaring forecast data directly via SMS to your cell phone.

To receive METAR, do this:

Send “MET KAPF” to +45xxxx xxxx (sorry, no short code yet )

Like this:

Or send “TAF EKCH” to +45xxxx xxxx (sorry, no short code yet )

Or for the glider weather report:

Send “glider” to +45xxxx xxxx

Wait a few seconds for the METAR to arrive – or 30-40 seconds for the soaring forecast report (it takes a while for it to send 6 sms )

I expect to enhance this functionality by being able to have taf/metar/soaring forecast sent out on a schedule – eg. each day in the morning, if desired.
